Bad mofo with a Nokia

There’s a couple of changes here that you may have already noticed. I moved my archives and categories to little “jumpboxes” to make it a little less busier on the side via Peter Bevin’s wonderful tutorial. I also added Ben Trott’s NetFlix plugin to my arsenal of perl goodies so that I could keep track of the stuff I have on my NetFlix queue. I don’t why it took me so damn long to finally get a NetFlix account, but man is it awesome! I already have Akira, Good Fellas and Star Wars: Episode II coming in the next couple of days. 🙂 I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the local Blockbuster anymore unless I’m looking for a video or something. Why bother?

If you look closely in the categories, you’ll also see that I moved all of my sweetie’s entries to this blog and she’ll be posting here from now on. If all is working well, her entries will turn out a lavender-ish color, so don’t freak out at the odd-colored text every now and then. 🙂

We recently went shopping and got some decorations for our little patio. Those lovely plants will sit inside those hanging long box thingies from the patio railing so we think it will add a nice touch to the patio. 🙂 I also decided to give my phone an aesthetic upgrade by getting a new phone cover. I found out from Steph that it really does not mean a thing. The characters are for “Down,” “Intelligence” and “Fortune”.

I thought it would mean something cool like, “Bad mofo with a Nokia” or something… :-/

Ooooh, and e-mail works now… Yay PostFix!

Move over Picasso

Well, maybe not…

I found a tutorial somewhere out there on how to make this:

I liked it… 🙂

If you want it, I have it in BMP (for Windows) and PNG (for Linux) formats. The reason I use BMP for my Windows machine is that so that it doesn’t turn on that crappy-ass “Active Desktop” like it does with JPGs. Both images are set at 1280×1024, so you may want to resize it down if you have a smaller resolution. 🙂

Your state uncovered

Holy freaggin’ hell, I haven’t laughed this hard reading someone’s post in a very very long time….

Classical metal

You know, there is abolsutely nothing more soothing than listening to classical music on the way to work during a nice 10 mile traffic jam. It’s even better when the best 4 cello band out there, Apocalyptica, is playing a Metallica piece. You’re soothed and stoked at the same exact time.

You know, I wonder how odd it would look to mosh in a tuxedo?
