Bad mofo with a Nokia

There’s a couple of changes here that you may have already noticed. I moved my archives and categories to little “jumpboxes” to make it a little less busier on the side via Peter Bevin’s wonderful tutorial. I also added Ben Trott’s NetFlix plugin to my arsenal of perl goodies so that I could keep track of the stuff I have on my NetFlix queue. I don’t why it took me so damn long to finally get a NetFlix account, but man is it awesome! I already have Akira, Good Fellas and Star Wars: Episode II coming in the next couple of days. 🙂 I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the local Blockbuster anymore unless I’m looking for a video or something. Why bother?

If you look closely in the categories, you’ll also see that I moved all of my sweetie’s entries to this blog and she’ll be posting here from now on. If all is working well, her entries will turn out a lavender-ish color, so don’t freak out at the odd-colored text every now and then. 🙂

We recently went shopping and got some decorations for our little patio. Those lovely plants will sit inside those hanging long box thingies from the patio railing so we think it will add a nice touch to the patio. 🙂 I also decided to give my phone an aesthetic upgrade by getting a new phone cover. I found out from Steph that it really does not mean a thing. The characters are for “Down,” “Intelligence” and “Fortune”.

I thought it would mean something cool like, “Bad mofo with a Nokia” or something… :-/

Ooooh, and e-mail works now… Yay PostFix!

Netflix is awesome. 🙂 We opened our account a little over a year ago, and I don’t know how we lived without it. Even better, they have a distribution center in Queens. That means that if Scott drops off a movie at a mailbox with an early pickup, Netflix usually has it back later that same day, with out next movie shipped right out to us.

How are you just starting with them now?? Welcome to the light, brother!

I heard the closest distribution center to us is in New Brunswick which is a good 10-15 minute car commute. So I think I might also have next day service with NetFlix as well. I wonder if the local mailbox has an early pick up time… 🙂

We’ve seen probably over 70 films we would never have seen, courtesy of Netflix. It’s Da Bomb. Plus, we don’t give Blockbuster any money, which is a Good Thing.
